Good morning. If a user creates a folder on root of C (or anyplace for that matter), that folder appears to allow any type of binary file to be executed for about a day. The next day, the user can't execute anything out of that folder due to solidcore rules, but they can just create a new folder and keep on going.
Is this normal behavior? Have we misconfigured something? How long does it take for a new folder to be solidified?
Please advise.
THat doesnt sound right. I would open a case with support so we can look into that behavior.
To answer the question about folder solidification. Its really based on File that is on the scripts list.
It should be instant. which is why i asked you to have support look into that behavior.
Hi @mlajoie ,
When a Drive is solidified, it creates an inventory of files that would be allowed to run when SolidCore is enabled.
Anything outside of this inventory should be blocked.
Could you share steps to recreate this?
Thanks
