DLP applying policy failure

Hi, wondering if anyone is able to help, we have DLP running with policies created, however we have recently been unable to apply new policies. The error being received is 'Apply Policy Failed' Has anyone seen this before? I have seen somewhere someone suggested to duplicate the policy, we have tried this, but this has also failed. I have attached the screenshot. EPO version: 5.3.2 DLP agent : 11.0.700

Re: DLP applying policy failure

@LauraJ this can happen for two reasons.

1. Classification being configured incorrectly. You may delete the classification created/modified just before the issue started.

2. Unable to connect to DB table.

You may check the Orion.log to understand the exact cause.

Re: DLP applying policy failure

Hi @JaganA

I've had a look in the Orion log, I cant see anything in this file that may indicate the issue unfortunately.

I'm unable to say when the issue started either, its only when we have come to apply another policy that we have noticed, at this point we have seen the error, I have removed what we added in but we still get the policy failed.

Yes, you can post it here OR create a service request with support for a technician to assist in remote.

Re: DLP applying policy failure

Hi Jagan Thank you for your reply, I have attached a section of the log where the errors have occurred, this shows what happens when the policy is applied. If you can have a look I'd appreciate any help. Thanks

Re: DLP applying policy failure

I see you attempted to apply following policies and failed.

Block

Allow

Default policy

Seems to be the policy has corrupted. Try to restore the policy backup file and check.
