Exempting @company suffix domain from Block Rules

Hi,

Trying to exempt internal domain (company suffix domain/internal email) from email block rules. Want email policy to only apply to external email. - Block outgoing external email that violates policy only

Created a rule to look for and block any PCI/PII related outgoing email, also created address list in policy manager/definitions/email address list but can't find anywhere to apply that to the email policy/rule.

Anyone with an idea or better way to achieve this

Hello and thank you for posting here!

You should be able to exempt any email address within the Exceptions tab of the rule. Within this tab, click the Actions menu, then select Add Rule Exception. You should then see an interface similar to my attached screenshot where you can change the sender property to the email address definition you've created.

Re: Exempting @company suffix domain from Block Rules

Hi,

Need to exempt for the cooperate email address e.g. @domain.com and not single email, I have created a definition and exemption on the rule, my question is which option would you choose, see attached screenshot for more info. I have tried Domain name equal, Display name contains and email address expression to no avail??
