How to uninstall DLP from only some users? Or just shut it off completely for whatever reason.

Hello,

You can assign uninstall task for those users one by one using Modify/Edit task on a single system or you can move the machines to a respective group and assign uninstall task using client task catalog- create new task and assign to that group.

If you want them not to use DLP then remove the policies but I will suggest removing the product is good idea.

You can start the uninstall on the client system using admin rights. The uninstaller will then provide you with a challenge code.

You then can enter this challenge code in Trellix ePO, the ePO console, go to DLP Help Desk and use the DLP Override Keys Key Type "Uninstall Key", fill in the details and the challenge code. ePO then will then provide you with a release code that allows you to continue the uninstallation of DLP on a specific system.
