Unable to install DLP Agent

Hi,

I have an issue regarding DLP installation via ePO sever. When I'm deploying the DLP agent and it gives error message from the client side like below.

"error occured while while installing the DLP Agent"

Is there any log on "%tmp%/McAfeelogs" ?

Yes I have the logs from mentioned location. But I have no idea how to attached those logs

Did you use the exact same Version that is installed on the client to uninstall it? We had like the same issue when trying to uninstall DLP 11 P3 with a P4 package.

Hi Dan,

Only I used Product removal tool to remove the DLP version without removing DLP via ePO

So did you have an old version of DLP installed before?

I would suggest to run the MER Tool and open a servicerequest with McAfee.

Hi All,

The issue was with their repositories, After whitelisting the IPS rules of the firewall we were able to deploy the DLP components
