Hello All,
We are trying to build a WinPE recovery ISO for Drive encryption version 7.2.6 and the latest model of laptops we are using is Lenovo T470s and T480s. Now these models use a special SSD which NVMe SSDs.
The exact make and model is NVMe SAMSUNG MZVLB256 SCSI Disk Drive. So the image what we have prepared is working perfectly in any model which is lesser than T470 laptops which uses a normal SSD(non-NVMe). But the same image doesn't work in the latest models which has NVMe disks. The error message appears as 'Boot disk not found' in the WinPE recovery interface (not while booting from the pen drive). So we assume the problem is detecting the NVMe disk is getting failed. So what we did is tried adding the driver(found from device manager) of the SSD into the image while building it. Still the same problem.
So i am not sure what could be the issue is and may be we are not adding the right driver? Have a case opened with McAfee and it on-going for more than six months. Even they can't get it fixed. Any leads will be appreciated. Thank you.
