Retrieve Bitlocker Key from DB directly.

Is it possible via an SQL query to retrieve a Bitlocker Key directly from the MS SQL database, without having to go through ePO?

I have a Bitlocker Key stored in an old database that's no longer in use and I'd rather not have to spin up a "new" ePO server just to get this one key.

Re: Retrieve Bitlocker Key from DB directly.

Hi @curo ,

Thank you for writing in here.

Cant retrieve the Recovery key directly from the DB tables using SQL query as the recovery keys are encrypted when you view them in the table.

You can get the recovery key from EPO as EPO can decrypt the encryption on the Recovery Key and show you the recovery key or you can try the WEB APIs below,

https://docs.mcafee.com/bundle/management-native-encryption-4.1.0-product-guide-epolicy-orchestrator...

Thank you.
