Maybe this would help.
System becomes unresponsive during preboot authentication on a Dell system fitted with Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) SSD drive
Technical Articles ID:   KB87074
Last Modified:  6/7/2018

Problem

Users are sometimes unable to authenticate at preboot after successfully installing DE, encrypting the hard disk, and restarting. The preboot file system then becomes corrupted, preventing users from accessing Windows.

Users see this intermittent issue on various Dell models that are fitted with a PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive (SSD).

One or more of the errors might display at preboot or coming out of hibernation:

unexpected eeuefi boot code cpp:std:bad-alloc

unexpected exception epeufibootcode.cp failed to deserialize type 0xee00005

unexpected exception in EpeUefiBootcode.cpp: 0xEE00005 Failed to deserialize type

Fatal Error [0xEE000005] Failed to deserialize Type

Fatal error [0xee0D001] Failed to read registry file

Your computer can’t come out of hibernation. Status 0xc000009a

Cause

McAfee investigated this problem with Dell and found the issue to be with the Dell system BIOS that was allowing a memory location to be overwritten.

Let's start here:

1. McAfee Drive Encryption Version?

2. OPAL or EFI or MBR?

3. When did it start ?

4. Was it only seen on one device or multiple devices?

5. Can you reproduce this symptom?

6. You look at the Logs?

7. Have you used the EZDE Advisor to view logs if your not sure where they are?

Just trying to get information beyond "this is the symptom". Your added information could really help me narrow down where I think the problem is. I have also posed this to DE engineers in support.
