Is there another way to remove the software, this system will never touch an EPO server.
HKLM > Software > Wow6432Node > Network Associates > ePolicy Orchestrator > application plugins > eeadmins_1000 - Use the uninstall command to remove the agent.
HKLM > Software > Wow6432Node > Network Associates > ePolicy Orchestrator > application plugins > EEPC - Use the uninstall command to remove the software.
Removal of the software is covered in the documentation. Specially, look in the documentation for EETECH/DETECH and you will find the uninstall commands. Just make absolutely sure you update ePO for that GUID or the software will be pushed right back at you.
Use the .28 version for data recovery needs. I am waiting for the next major version for an update. Thanks for your post.
How long must we wait to be granted access after we ask to join the group?
Thanks. When I visit https://community.mcafee.com/t5/The-Encryption-Tools-Exchange/gp-p/TheEncryptionToolsExchange while logged onto the site, I get "This is a closed group. Ask to join this group". I asked to join last week and if I click to join today it says I have already made the request.
Thanks Eddie for your note. This was an open group and there have been some issues in the recent migration. I was unaware that the group went to a closed status and I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. The problem has now been corrected. Giving people a little benefit of doubt goes along way. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks for your help. I was able to enter the group this morning, but something is not quite right. The description on the right says open, but there is still the text saying it is a closed group. Today I saw not one, but two Join the Group buttons that went to different URLs. I clicked on the left one and I was able to get into the group!
BTW, I tried to upload a picture but the web site keeps saying the HTML is not valid and I just gave up. I do have a snapshot saved if that would be helpful.
