Where can I get the uninstall string for the different McAfee products?

I know the uninstall string can be found here on the local PC:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

but is there a centralized database or the KB article where it is posted?

Also, a different version of the same product, for example, Endpoint Security Firewall version 10.5.4.4213 and 10.6.1.1521 will have a different uninstall string?

Thanks everyone!

Re: Where can I get the uninstall string for the different McAfee products?

Hi @ssedhai,

Sorry I couldn't find any KB/Doc with the requested information.

You're right, uninstall string can be located in the registry.

Which can then be used uninstall using commandline as mentioned in the link below.

Thanks

Re: Where can I get the uninstall string for the different McAfee products?

@Pravas Thanks for the reply.

I was not able to locate the registry in the location mentioned in this link.

https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB58231

however, I found a related registry here:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Do you need correction/update in the KB?

Thanks!
