ATP Standalone installer?

To the best of my knowledge there isn't a standalone installer for ATP, and we're required to deploy it to systems from EPO.  I've also unsuccessfully attempted to include it in multiple ENS package designs over the past two years.  The absence of a standalone installer is a MAJOR inconvenience.  When our standard was VirusScan it was a nice simple process of deploying one product from EPO. With ENS that process has been complicated by making three seperate component packages to manage in EPO.  From a system compliance standpoint, if there was a problem with VirusScan there was one product to fix.  Now with ENS if there's a compliance issue you could have anywhere between one and three seperate components (Endpoint Platform/Threat Prevention/ATP) that are not upgrading properly. Does McAfee plan to either 1.) release a standalone version of ATP and/or 2.) include it as part of one ENS package that consists of Platform/Threat Prevention/ATP??

@nashcoop I do agree with your question. However the answer is that we do not have any information related to the question. However, I would recommend you to submit an Idea to McAfee. I am sure McAfee would always strive to improve its products and services and it can be considered.

@nashcoop There is a full install package for ATP provided at version 10.6.1 Dec Update as it was the latest release to have full installers (subsequent releases have been patch/minor hotfix incrementals only). The next full installer package set is planned for April. If you already have ATP installed and just need to upgrade, the incrementals also include the needed files for local use.

You can use those packages locally by extracting the package and then running the included SetupATP.exe file as administrator. The differentiator is that it will not have a GUI like the typical installer, but you'll see it working by the presence of ATP Bootstrapper logs in the %temp% folder.

ATP is going to be included in the mainline ENS installer with the release of 10.7 later this year and will be treated just like all other modules.
