Somewhat related to an old post https://community.mcafee.com/t5/ePolicy-Orchestrator-ePO/VirusScan-8-8-On-Acess-exclusion-with-a-com... which never got a proper answer.
We use Endpoint Security in combination with ePO. For a subset of computers I'm trying to exclude the WhatsApp application, which installs in **\Users\*\AppData\Local\Whatsapp\Whatsapp.exe in Access Protection, which is otherwise blocked by rules that don't allow any executales being ran from the profile paths. I want digital signature checking on that one, but there is an issue there. The signature is:
C=US,S=California,L=Menlo Park,O=WhatsApp, Inc,CN=WhatsApp, Inc
But the commas in 'Whatsapp, Inc' are treated as seperators and hence I can't save it like that as ePO reports an error. When I quote them like this:
C=US,S=California,L=Menlo Park,O="WhatsApp, Inc",CN="WhatsApp, Inc"
ePO accepts it, but then I keep gettings reports on that file being opened. So how would one enter a signature with commas in it?
