Adaptive Threat Protection High CPU in Windows Server 2019

Hi, I know this seems vague, but it's become a regular problem with ATP in that it constantly consumes far too much CPU, especially on Windows Server 2019. Is there a known issue here ? It has caused some production down situations and this is unacceptable to us. Platform = 10.7.0.1285 TP = 10.7.0.1415 ATP = 10.7.0.1531 OS version = 1809 I've had to disable the product via policy, however this lowers the security of the server. I've previously raised an SR on this but I've been told that McAfee Engineers need to see it happening \ run the WebMER at the time its happening however this is not helpful on a production server linked to SLAs. Regards, Marc

Re: Adaptive Threat Protection High CPU in Windows Server 2019

Hi @rotorman20b

There is no known issue with high cpu on that version. We would need to isolate within ATP which component causing the issue. This is really need to troubleshoot by looking at real time log.

Re: Adaptive Threat Protection High CPU in Windows Server 2019

That response doesn't really help me at all.  I've had too many production servers have CPU maxing out all because of this product and I've had to disable it completely, which lowers the security footprint on these servers.  Surely there's something you can do to help?
