After instalations of (ENS 10.7.0 February 2022 Update) On Demand Scan task Deleted .exe file

Hi Guys,

We are testing ( Upgrade ENS 10.7.0 February 2022 Update). We moved 10 Workstations (Windows 10) to Evaluation group. Upgrade of new version of ENS 10.7.0 February 2022 Update is successful; but when the task on demand scan run deleted a .exe file, which is on exception on the task.

The very weird part is that 3 systems have the issue.

The old version of ENS is working very well

The .exe file is created when we install our application and is used for many users in our company

Below part of log OnDemandScan_Activity.log

Domain\ComputerName$ ran on-demand scan "On Demand Scan (ENS)", which detected the threat Trojan named Artemis!A6CDF4B7D329 while scanning C:\Program Files\Folder\nameexefile.exe but the file can't be deleted because it's locked. The file will be deleted when the file isn't locked.
To identify the process locking the file, see KB85494.
Additional information:
Primary Action: Clean
Secondary Action: Delete

We are running

ePo 5.10 Update 12
Mcafee Agent 5.7.5.504
Endpoint Security Platform 10.7.0.2421 ( Productions )
Threat Prevention 10.7.0.2522 (Productions )
Endpoint Security Platform 10.7.0.3255 ( Evaluation )
Threat Prevention 10.7.0.3299 (Evaluation )

Windows 10

Any Ideas ?

Thanks

Hi @wilfredy,

Thank you for posting your issue here. May I know if you can share screengrabs of the exclusions you have put in the ODS scan?

Also please let me know what kind of ODS you are running (Right click?, Policy based?, Customer ODS?,etc).
