Clarification on Virus event

We have received below event today:

 file infected. Undetermined clean error, OAS denied access and continued

But just few minutes before that I can see events that are saying that virus was removed:

Can you please explain where the difference is coming from? If it was supposedly removed- apparently few times within few minutes and then it happens again then I would assume that this is a false positive alert, but then we would need that tuned.

Thanks for contacting McAfee community forum,
Well when you say the Virus was removed by AV and if you still see the new detection means the source infection is still present in your network or may be on the target machine.Which keeps spreading the infection again and again.

Suggest  you to paste the complete event description to verify it further.

Possibly raise it with us a Service request to investigate the issue further.
