ENS 10.6.1 is a mix of 4 patch and 1 installer update (ATP)
so the question is how to mix both kind if you are using a combined client task for distribution !
strange choice

Redownloaded the bundle version today and this time the install package is correctly seen when imported. (From epo -> check bundle)
We'd like to know more too.
It seems there's a reboot of they system at some point.
Not sure if it's the platcform or TP module.
Hi I am testing ENS 10.6.1 in my lab, on Windows 2012, Windows 10 and Windows 7.. ENS Platform, Threat Protection, Firewall and Web Control are all like normal upgrades .. a patch. You have to check the patches into the repository and have non signature update tasks.
I upgraded all 4 modules with and update now command. I am not sure if it would be best practice to upgrade in stages.. .just the platform.. then each other module ... then best to reboot.
ENS 10.6.1 ATP did not have the patch 1 component... even if you download the ENS 10.6.1 ATP bundle .. there is not standalone patch. I had to deploy it like a new product.. over top of the old ENS 10.6.0 ATP.
So yes, a bit confusing 🙂

Also testing in labs, did u have any memory leak issue ?
Like this : https://community.mcafee.com/t5/Endpoint-Security-ENS/McAfee-WebControl-10-6-1-Memory-leak/m-p/60662...
hundreds of computers have this issue !
So actuall, i'll targed in a second test wave some of them in production to see if problem is solved. I need to ttake time to test the patch 1 but also i'm in a hurry to have it avalaible for my computers. No an easy situation.
Actually 25 computers are testing this update without issue at this time
Did you ever get to the root product that was causing this memory leak? We are experiencing memory leaks on all Win7, Server 2008 R2 and Server 2012 R2 on version 10.6.1. ATP, and TP installed.

What version of 10.6.1 do you have installed? We had a memory issue and on servers until the October Update of 10.6.1 then the ATP memory leak went from 2Gb to between 44-49Mb. Also note that despite what the release notes say about there not needing a reboot unless there is a faulty exploit Prevention driver, you will need to reboot.
Endpoint Security Platform 10.6.1.1068
Endpoint Security Firewall 10.6.1.1045
Endpoint Security Threat Prevention 10.6.1.1128
Endpoint Security Adaptive Threat Protection 10.6.1.1064
This clients version. We have memory leak on version 10.5.3 and 10.5.4, after upgrade to 10.6.1 issue gone.
