ENS 10.6.1.x & May Patch from evaluation branch

Jump to solution

Hello,

We've checked the ENS 10.6.1 May Patch into the Evaluation Branch of our ePO server to be able to test the effect on a couple of test computers.

We've created a TAG which has a modified Agent Policy to pull the updates from the Evaluation Branch.

This scenario works perfectly but there are about 100 computers that also got the Patch without having the TAG and the default Agent Policy looks for update in the Current and not the Evaluation.

Global updating is disabled and all policies have been checked on content to be sure that there isn't another policy that triggers this.

At random times a few additional computers get the patch installed.

Has anyone encounter this or does anyone have any idea how it's possible because we didn't notice this behaviour with previous ENS en VSE?

Branch/Tag issues are all EPO/MA related. The point products getting deployed or updated to not have the ability to pull themselves from different branches. Please post to the MA/EPO team.
