ENS Blocking ZIP Downloads

Untitled.pngWe're using Windows V. 1909 and this happens on any browser (edge / chromium edge / IE / Chrome / firefox etc...)

ENS : 10.7

Agent: 5.7.1.116

The site is an EPA site so it's a trusted source. Usually there's a download anyways, but recently that option has not been showing up. Below is the download link to the EPA site for the modeling screens.

 https://gaftp.epa.gov/Air/aqmg/SCRAM/models/screening/screen3/screen3.zip

We get that the file has been blocked.

Site: gaftp.epa.gov and the file which is from the link above.

Then it says that in our tests this download contained programs some people would consider adware, spyware or potentially unwanted programs.

What would the next steps be to get this cleared for users to download? It's not just that single ZIP it's any of them on the EPA page.

Re: ENS Blocking ZIP Downloads

Hi @ChristopherTB,

Thank you or your post. Based on our initial investigations, looks like it is the zip file itself that is triggering this detection and not the URL you are visiting. In order to have this further analyzed with the help of our McAfee Labs Team, we recommend creating a Service Request with the below details:
