ENS Manual Migration Question

Dear All,

Can someone help me understand manual migration, I have already read the documents and tested in my UAT environment which left me with a couple questions.

1. Do we need to save the catalog and immediately start the migration?

2. What is the duration/deadline for the catalog synchronization?

3.Why the Firewall rule is not merged with any of the existing policies?

4.Can I do the migration x number of times with different policy names?

5.If I am migrating Access Protection, then I will have buffer overflow, IPS Options, rules and Protection, which wouldeventually result in creating three policies 1. Threat Prevention - Access Protection,  2. Threat Prevention - Exploit Prevention  and 3 Common - Options , are there any scope of  this can be reduced, for example if I have 10's of 20's of all the three policies with different options enabled/disabled, can I still reduce the numbers, or would it not be possible. Because one of my colleague had this problem.
