ENS issues with files created in a temp folder

Jump to solution

Hello,

We are using an application that seems to have issues with ENS 10.7. The application runs from a folder located on a network drive, which has already been excluded for Access Protection. The application keeps generating various error messages whenever the ENS is installed. When looking on the ePO side, there are no Threats Events that indicate issues with the application. Is there a way to see in more details what the ENS may be doing to the application?

Many Thanks

Hi @Linuxxo ,

Thank you for reaching out to McAfee Community,

If you want to have a look at the scanning performed by McAfee On-Access scanner, The best way to know what processes,Folders, files and extensions are being scanned for your application is to use McAfee Profiler tool.

Please use this KBA to understand what is McAfee Profiler tool and how to use it >>https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB69683

Please Note:- "Profiler tool is attached at the bottom of same KBA (KB69683) mentioned above and password for that tool's zip file is "clean" "

If you want McAfee Engineer to connect with you over call and remote session to discuss this further and assist you, Please open Service request using Portal visiting >>https://support.mcafee.com/webcenter/portal/supportportal/pages_home?pageTemplate=null

Hope this helps!
