ENS not updating to 10.6.1

Hi,

After trying to remove ENS from the ePO and failed, I used the mcafee removal tool and also failed.

Program and features in the control panel does not show any of the ENS products but the folders are located in C drive.

I have tried to remove them running the commands available in the registry but still facing the same issue.

Any advice

Thanks

Re: ENS not updating to 10.6.1

Hi @Waseem_a

Do you know what it fails with? Do you see an error?

What happens if you run the msi string found in the registry? i.e. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432\Network Associates\ePolicy Orchestrator\Application Pluggins\ENDP_AM_10XX

How did you run the removal tool? If not yet tried, you can run it from CMD instead of via the GUID with the command line (launched as an admin): McAfeeEndpointProductRemoval.exe --accepteula --ALL

@Waseem_a

Dear Waseem,

I would recommend you to reboot the problematic system once and then proceed with the below commandline string McAfeeEndpointProductRemoval.exe --accepteula --ALL.

Your issue will be resolved.

Cheers !!!
