Need some clarification on this. Since updating to 10.6 and now on 10.7 it seems that we still have to run full deployment packages to update within the version.
Example, in the July update to 10.7 it says this next to the download package. "Intended for new installations and upgrades from previous versions (eg. 10.5.x, 10.6.x)".
So where does that leave customers that are on earlier versions of 10.7? (I have a mix of 16k systems on 10.7 Feb and 10.7 May) Are we not supposed to use this to update them? Do we need to wait for a patch? Speaking of which, why do we keep having run these full, huge, long installs to get to a minor update revision vs the "old" method where we could just check in a patch or hotfix? What happened to that methodology?
