ENS10 for Server for Linux Standloane installation- Agent MFEcma (x86_64) is required

Jump to solution

Hi, I’ve tried to install ENS10 for server on Linux, SUSE Linus Enterprise server 11 (x86_64), but encounter some problems after extract ISecTP-10.5.2-1621-standalone.linux.tar.gz.

  1. Agent MFEcma (x86_64) is required to continue installation, but I tried to find it on website, but don’t understand where can I get the agent installer?
  2. Procedures for x86_64 rpm installation requires Public key name. However, I tried the License.txt, but prompt an error: license.txt: import read failed (0).

Looking forward to any advice to resolve these questions, thank you!

Yes, you could even use the latest agent if you wish - the 5.5.1 version.

As  you are installing using RPM, I would suggest you take a look at the installation guide - page 16 in regards to verifying the signature:

https://kc.mcafee.com/resources/sites/MCAFEE/content/live/PRODUCT_DOCUMENTATION/27000/PD27641/en_US/...

On the downloads page  you can find other versions of the agent by disabling the checkbox for "only showing latest version". I've tried to attach some screenshots which will hopefully help!

Hi Chealey,

Thanks for the reply. I've downloaded the file from website, Install - LINUX (RTW) Version 5.0.5.658.

However, I didn't find Agent MFEcma (x86_64), which is required to continue installation.

And only found MFEma.x86_64 and many other files in thie package.

I'm wondering if I've downloaded the correct install package, thank you.

p.s. I wanted to post the photo, but didn't find the way to attach.

"Install - LINUX (RTW) Version 5.0.5.658"

is the 64bit and 32bit version. This version should be ok to install on your Linux machine. It will detect the version of OS and will switch between 64 or 32 bit accordingly.

Hi Chealey,

Please let me check again.

We're using "Novell SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 11", so I suppose that "Install - LINUX (RTW) Version 5.0.5.658" is good to go, is my undrestadning correct? Thank you.
