Hi Guys,
Good morning, I just want to know the difference of the ETD and ETP suite when it comes to the ENS Product. Are both the same when it comes to the ENS, meaning do they have the same modules included in the ENS (Threat Prevention, Firewall, Web Control and Adaptive Threat Protection)? or ETD's ENS only has the Adaptive Threat Protection?
TIA
Solved! Go to Solution.
Yes, ATP is a module for ENS. Without ENS, ATP can't be installed.
ATP is available under ETD module only.
@Jayvee If you are licensed for ENS, then you will be licensed for all modules. You cannot have only ENS ATP as ATP is dependent upon the ENS Platform and ENS Threat Prevention modules being present for it to function.

Hi Jess,
Thanks for the prompt reply, much appreciated. So meaning ETD and ETP has both all ENS modules? And also can you help with regards to the image attached for ETD (document is from mcafee). Can you help explain it further? TIA
ETD
ETD and ETP are product SKU's (suites).
ETP contains your Basic AV protection like ENS, device control.
ETD contains advance thread protection like TIE, ATP etc. which works in conjunction with ETP product like ENS.
Hi Sovan,
Thanks for the reply, and yes I do understand that ETP and ETD are product suites. Correct me if I'm wrong, both has the ENS product included right? To make it simple, how many modules does ENS have, as far as I know those are Threat Prevention, Web Control and Firewall right? So can you explain further what the image means (ENS Adaptive Threat Protection module). Does it mean ENS has four modules? if yes then does ETP also has the ATP module? TIA
I also got this image from the site. Adaptive Threat Protection is a module. So does it mean that ETP's ENS has only 3 modules while ETD's ENS has four modules? TIA
Yes, ATP is a module for ENS. Without ENS, ATP can't be installed.
ATP is available under ETD module only.
