Expected connections for ENS 10.6.1

Jump to solution

Is there a list of what communication would be expected on an endpoint with ENS 10.6.1 (TP,FW, WC, ATP) to any remote sites?  I am thinking that there would be some communication to local TIE/DXL servers and possibly GTI communication with remote Internet sites.

Hello @ctcc-dave

Yes, you are right. We are not expecting any outside connection else of the GTI and Trtustsource. You can see the list in the article https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB79640

Hi @ctcc-dave

Thank you for your post. As @patrakshar pointed out, this KBA lists down the list of URLs used by various components including but not limited to ENS.

Added to that an Endpoint is expected to communicate to TIE server provided you have TIE Server configured in your network and you have ATP component present in the machine along with ENS TP.

Not all of the above URLS will be contacted owing to the fact that each of these URLs belong to specific components that should have the feature turned ON in order to have the GTI contacted.

I sincerely hope this helps!
