Extra DAT and AMCore

Hello,

How can I know if my extra dat has been included in the general AMCore Content ?

Hi @jmcg,

Thank you for your Post. EXTRA DAT files, in general, are delivered by our labs team to offer coverage immediately to emerging threats that is not covered by our AMcore content for the day (We may have GTI based detection though!).

Hence during every new AMcore release, we add new signatures and the EXTRA DAT we release for specific threat on a day is usually expected to become part of the regular content (AmCore update) in 2 to 3 business days.

However, if you wish to confirm whether a detection added by EXTRA DAT file is also now added into your regular AMCore update, you will have to contact Support who will verify it internally and confirm the same to you.
