According to the SNS notice:
New Threat Prevention and Migration extensions for Endpoint Security (ENS) 10.7.0 November 2022 Update are now available. This release includes fixes for Exploit Prevention rules and policy migration.
• ENSW-117883 - The Exploit Prevention policy now displays all the Exploit Prevention signatures (removing and re-adding the Exploit Prevention content to the Main Repository may be required.)
Is there any more information available re the Trellix Endpoint Security 10.7.0 November Update Threat Prevention extension 10.7.0.5112?
It was released on the 17/01/23, but I cannot find any information on it in the KB82450 "Endpoint Security 10.x Known Issues" https://kcm.trellix.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB82450
The KB82761 "Supported platforms for Endpoint Security" https://kcm.trellix.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB82761 details extension 10.7.0.5102 or 10.7.0.5112.
The release notes from the 17/01/22 only refer to "Feature fix - ENSW-117883 - The Exploit Prevention policy now displays all of the Exploit Prevention signatures."
We've had significant problems signing in the Firewall Extension of this release, so I am wary of signing this update in without further info.
Hi @ezim ,
Unfortunately, we do not have any publicly available information beyond the release notes, so if you need to check if there are any inquiries about problems with the Threat Prevention extension 10.7.0.5112, please contact us with a service request.
Thank you @ueno for your reply.
I'd appreciate if the KB82450 "Endpoint Security 10.x Known Issues" page could be updated to show that this was a repost of the original 10.7.0.5102 extension.
