GetClean upload error

Hi, recently I see this error when trying to upload files using GetClean:

"GetClean is unable to talk to McAfee GTI. The scan will not be proceeded further !!!"

The error is being displayed no matter what network I use to upload the file. I have tested the host to GTI connectivity according to the KB53733. The test was successful.

Does anyone here has an idea what might be causing this error or how to fix it?

Should anyone run into same problem > Once I removed "the read" only and "encrypted" properties in the folder options the software started to work properly.

Hi I'm getting the same error. i have about 100 internet facing servers which I scan everytime we patch. 

most have no problem, but at present 3 are giving me this error - my network guys have checked the firewall and nothing is being blocked there.  I had one sever which had the issue for a few tries, then suddenly started working.

I just came across this error. What fixed it for me was to run GetClean as Admin.

Running into the same problem again. I have tested all previous suggestions with no success. I am using the version 2.1.0.160

Has anyone has some advice on what can be done with this?

Also on that note, what credentials should be used for the getclean webpage?
