Green circle with white check mark missing in Google Chrome when perform a search.

I am running Endpoint Security version 10.7 with all the latest updates on Windows 10  with all the latest updates. When performing a Google Search in Chrome I used to see a green circle with a white check mark in it if McAfee determines the website is safe. I have just noticed that I am now missing that green circle with a white check mark. McAfee Endpoint Web Control is an enabled extension. I have tried disabling all other extensions but that did not solve this issue. If I do a search using the Edge Browser the green circle is displayed. I have performed a Google search on this issue but none of the solutions work for me. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you, Howard

Re: Green circle with white check mark missing in Google Chrome when perform a search.

Hello @hmbdtx ,

When corrections are made to the ENS Web Control scripts, the ENS Web Control client automatically downloads them from sadownload.mcafee.com.

If you are using a proxy server, the updated scripts needed for search result annotations do not download. Proxy users must install a new ENS Web Control hotfix or update to get the latest scripts.

Kindly upgrade the ENS Web control on couple odf system and let us know if that makes any difference .

If not then request you to reach out to McAfee Technical Support for further assistance.

Thank you
