I have an high CPU performance issue with the configuration of ENS for linux.
Is there an McAfee Profiler for ENS for Linux or is this part of the McAfee roadmap?
The supported products of McAfee profiler:
Technical Articles ID: KB69683
Environment
McAfee Endpoint Security (ENS) Threat Prevention 10.5.2 and later
McAfee Profiler 2.x, 1.x
McAfee VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) 8.8

@Nielsb There is not a McAfee Profiler tool for Linux OS. However, ENSL does have an option that you can enable which will allow you to view, in real-time, what files are being scanned in order for you to identify what process or file may be getting scanned in excess to cause the performance drain, so that you may implement a strategic OAS exclusion. For information on how to enable this setting, please see KB89711.

Thanks! superb.
To help other customers, could you or McAfee support update the KB of the Windows profiler
https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB69683
and add an reference to the Linux On-Access Scan activity monitor?
You Need NO profiler for LINUX. It's Always fast and faster than Windows. 😉
Yes Linux is fast except after the installation of ENS:
@Former Member,
Since we are in the TUX discussion area is there a VIRUSPROTECTION running on McAfee Appliances? We have the Agent and DXL there but is it recommended or possible to run ENS there? Don't tell me you don't Need since you had to follwop up all CVE's the last months with releases.
Webgateway?
TIE?
ATP?
Thanx
