Linux ENS Directory Missing After Install

Hello,

I have installed ENS Linux on a Oracle linux system. ePO reports the system is being managed. When I go into the system itself via CLI in the var and opt directory it is missing the ENS directory.

example...

opt/McAfee/ and from there the ENS directory never installs or appears.

Even with a reinstall attempt, it will do the same thing and does not show the ENS directory.

Other linux systems are taking ENS and reporting properly and have the ENS directory.

Re: Linux ENS Directory Missing After Install

Hi @User33079053 ,

Please share the following details.

1. Does Endpoint Security Threat Prevention shows Installed on ePO for the system in question?

2. Is Oracle Linux version/kernel compatible as per KB87073?

3. Are you able to locate /opt/McAfee/agent?

Thanks

Re: Linux ENS Directory Missing After Install

To answer your questions

1. Endpoint security shows as installed in ePO

2. Yes we are running ENS that is compatible with our current version of Linux

3. The agent directory does exist in the opt directory
