McAfee ENS services restart

Hi,

In VSE we ca start the Mcshield services but in ENS we dont have such servcies ,we have processes so in case of some utilization issue if we want to start the mcshield how we can do that in ENS?

Is there a way we can start the process or can we kill the process to check the same

ENS still uses mcshield as the scanner service. There are also component related services such as mfetp (the Threat Prevention process). What makes this harder to achieve with ENS is the added self protection layer - this along with Access Protection would need to be disabled for you to be able to restart the services. This would however mean loss of a major security benefit of ENS if disabled. 

So no, there is no easy way of achiving your goal as you did with VSE.

You can stop the mcshield process if you disable Access Protection and Self Protection. But otherwise no.
