McAfee Endpoint Security - Web Control module

Howdy,
We are preparing to deploy McAfee Endpoint Security 10.1. I was testing the Web Control module, but it looks like it leaves alot of the control up to the user.
Once installed it:

  • Asks the user to approve/install the extension in Chrome

  • Does not have the extension in Incognito mode in Chrome

  • Asks the user to enable the extension in Internet Explorerusps tracking

Is this normal? Does anyone know if there is a way to force this and just have the extensions installed and working without the users having to do anything?

Thanks!

Re: McAfee Endpoint Security - Web Control module

Hello @Former Member ,

The browsers require you to manually activate the ENS Web Control extension before you can use Web Control.

Each browser has different behaviors and steps associated with activating the ENS Web Control extension after ENS Web Control is installed on the local system.
