Hi,
When I edited one of the firewall policy in ENS,I changes some IP ranges and when I tried to click on save to update the policy it keeping on loading and not saving even if you wait for half an hour.
I tried to restart the services of EPO but still getting the same result.
Can anyone tell me what could be the issue and is there any way to solve this so that I can update the policy
Solved! Go to Solution.
Best to enable ePO Orion debug logging, reproduce the issue, then submit a MER file in a Service Request. We can review it further to see what might be happening. It would likely be some type of "ERROR"-type message
Hi @ktankink,
I checked the orion.log in EPO and found the error "ERROR [http-nio-2084-exec-1] servlet.ControllerServlet - Exception thrown by ActionBean:
java.sql.SQLException: Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'IX_EPOPolicySettings_TenantTypeIDName'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.EPOPolicySettingsMT'."
I checked the ENS firewall extension and found that it was 10.6.0 so I upgraded it to 10.6.1 and it worked
Thanks for your help
hi @haaris
Example of previously resolved issue:
PD27952 - Endpoint Security 10.5.4 September Update Release Notes (Repost)
1223229 Firewall rules no longer fail to save due to java.sql.SQLException: Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'IX_EPOPolicySettings_TenantTypeIDName' errors.
Hi @ktankink,
I haven't checked Orion. Log yet. Any idea what exactly can I look for in the logs.
I thought of extension but I am using 10.6.1 extension already.
