Thank you for keeping us updated! Let us know how this went. However, I would be interested to dig into the logs to find out why this task failed (apart form the fact that it is Not recommended for huge deployments in general by us).
The task has actually failed and I am sure there must be a reason at endpoint level that might just need fixing. Please keep us posted on your progress!
Hello,
Thanks for your response.
The best way is to create a scheduled task and assigned it to the client machine.
Select the machine from system tree>Action>Agent>Modify/Edit task on a single system>New Client Task assignment>McAfee Agent>Product deployment>create the task starting with platform and after that other modules.
Once the task is ready please schedule it as Run Immediately and send a wake up agent call and see how it goes.
I believe after using the removal tool you have successfully rebooted the machine and after that you are sending the task.
After running the removal tool a reboot is mandatory, Reboot will clear all the remnants and other entries from the machine.
If still the you are seeing the failure in that case please contact Technical Support Team to get that check whether the issue is from McAfee Agent or ENS.
You can post the logs here as well but please make sure that you are removing the IP , Host name and all before posting here.
