Query on ENS Removal

Dear Members

I have a query on the ENS removal.

Let's say ,there are two versions (Latest & N-1 version) of ENS ATP, TP & Platform in our environment and I have created a tag based removal task for the latest version and have applied the tag to a few systems reporting with older version too. I see that this task remove the older version too from tagged systems.

Is this an expected behavior ? There is no impact though but Just curious to know.

Re: Query on ENS Removal

Hi @AtulHnz1 ,

In this case, you have performed the uninstall task for 10.7.0 to ENS 10.7.0 and 10.6.1 in your environments , and ENS was uninstalled in both environments, is that correct?

If my understanding is correct, the uninstall task for 10.7.0 does not uninstall 10.6.1, so this is an unexpected behavior. If you need to determine the cause of the problem, please contact us with a Service Request.

Re: Query on ENS Removal

Hello

No, we had different versions of the 10.7.x.x and we used the latest package 10.7.x.x uninstall task (ATP, TP, Platform), which removed the lower version of ENS packages 10.7.x.x as well.

So wanted to know if this is expected behaviou

Re: Query on ENS Removal

Hi @AtulHnz1 ,

I understand your situation. That is expected behavior. Even if the latest 10.7.0 is checked in, any version of 10.7.0  will be uninstalled.
