Question about if ATP is free to use with ENS 10.7.0

Have just started looking at ENS 10.7.0. Under our grant number, I notice a ATP module that can be downloaded. Under ePO 5.1 I decided to use the software catalog to install the ENS 10.7.0 bundle. I noticed that it does not show this ATP module except under Evaluation. Is the ATP module that comes with ENS 10.7.0 something that you need a seperate license for?

I would like to inform you that we have several types of licenses available and i believe ATP would be coming with different license.

Incase if you have a doubt, you can login to portal site and check what are the McAFee product listed over there. Based on that you can have a word with your SAM to know more about licensing details and usage.

Note : License is always based on the product and the endpoints that you are going to manage. We support do not involve or do not have more information about licensing part.

It looks like McAfee erroneously offered ATP to customers who were not licensed for it when they released ENS 10.7.

It's no longer offered under our grant number.

A quick confirmation here, Unless you are licensed to use ATP, You will not be able to download and use the same. For a limited period of time at the time of launch you may have seen ENS 10.7 offered as a single bundle which was later rectified to show 2 separate bundles depending on the User's license.

We apologize for any inconvenience. The licensing purchased and the products purchased with the license still holds good and there has been no change owing to 10.7 release.

We asked the FIRST DAY here in the FORUM if IT was free now? Mcafee thought we don't know here to download.

We would like to state from our side as partner that the usage of the ATP/TIE Module is useless in a lager company with a lot of FIles who want's to keep ALL on Premise.

The TIE Server appliance is not something you setup over night. You have to fine tune and get **bleep** running and at the end from 100'000 EXE or DLL your still have 50 which you have to exclude manual or tune.

So you need the TIE Server DB (Black/Whiteliste) and that is included in the ATP/TIE Module price.

Would not be nice to give that free compared to customers who paid IT, helped it grow good and strong with ideas from our side.
