Run the standalone v3 DAT on a server remotely

Jump to solution

Has anyone tried to do the following?

Download the standlone v3 DAT from the site hxxps://update[.]nai.com/products/datfiles/v3dat/.
Copy the file to the server using 3rd party management tool like SCCM\HPSA.
Once copied, run the file remotely without any pop up.

Is there a command to use to run the file remotely without any pop up?
When running it locally, a cmd window will pop up showing the progress.
We want to remove it when doing it remotely if that is possible.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @ads18 ,

You may use the /silent switch to install without any pop-ups.

Hi @Pravas,

Thanks for sharing, was not aware there is an article about it.

Will try to automate the download of latest v3 DAT from the site, copy to the server, then run it remotely.

Thanks again.
