Scanning file uploads for web applications

Can ENS be used to scan file uploads for a web application (e.g. through an API or other mechanism)?

Re: Scanning file uploads for web applications

Hi @Former Member

Unfortunately ENS does not have an API for scanning that could be used directly for this purpose.

However, there are some alternatives available such as the VirusScan Commandline Scanner, which can have its output (clean/infected) used in a script for this purpose. McAfee Web Gateway's ICAP scanning functionality can also be used to fit this purpose, if the web application supports that type of scanning.
