Security issue when deploying McAfee Endpoint Security

I'm currently rolling out Endpoint Security to our users (300+). I've noticed that once installed it isn't updating its virus definitions. But more worryingly if I try an eicar test it isn't picked up just allow downloading/opening!

I've just gone back to some computers I installed Enpoint Security on last week and they still haven't updated their definitions! The software appears to be doing nothing.

Surely out of the box this software should be trying to update straight away or at least have a baseline of definitions.

Please can someone advise as at the moment we are unprotected!

I am moving this to the ENS team.  Typically update failures are an agent issue, but if it is not even detecting eicar, that points it to an ENS problem.
