Upgrading to Windows 1809

Hi all

We are looking at upgrading our desktops from Windows 10 1703 to Win 10 1809.

At present we have the following Mcafee applications installed on the client devices.

Mcafee Agent

5.0.5.658

EndPoint Security - Platform

10.5.3.3178

EndPoint Security - Threat Prevention

10.5.3.3264

EndPoint Security - Firewall

10.5.3.3108

Data Loss Prevention Endpoint

10.0.260.42

Drive Encryption - Windows

7.2.1.16

Drive Encryption - Agent

7.2.1.16

FRP

5.0.9.108

Now, I assume I need to get these updated to the latest version of all of them.

We are running  ePO Build: ePolicy Orchestrator 5.9.0 (Build 732)

I had tried to update the client side programs, by downloading the latest versions from the Mcafee Download page and uploading the zip files into the Master Repositories and setting them to Evaluation.

I then deployed these to the a single test machine. This is what the product page looks like now.

While it appeared to install most of the updates without issue, DLP doesn't seem to work anymore and I have no idea why.

How best do we go about upgrading the client side apps via EPO?

Do we need to update anything on the server?

I've been provided with VERY limited training on how to manage EPO and Mcafee, so any help would be awesome.

Re: Upgrading to Windows 1809

Did you upgrade the EPO extensions for the products as well? I don't support DLP but I doubt that DLP 10 extensions will properly manage 11.2 clients. You may want to post in the DLP forum if it's not that simple and also define exactly how DLP isn't working anymore.
