I saw that there's a different product for servers Supported platforms for Endpoint Security for Servers (mcafee.com), didn't excatly find the download link so that I can evaluate, I just want to ensure my windows servers are protected with the right product. Please suggest.
Hello @tekpro ,
Thank you for writing. ENS for servers is just an extension and software that monitors and controls the CPU load of the cloud platform.
ENS for Servers will work with ENS Threat Prevention (Windows and Linux) to minimize the performance impact of resource-intensive tasks like the on-demand scan. Also, please note that this is not a client package that we would install assuming this designed for Windows Server operating systems, ENS for Servers would not even have a client package.
I am adding a few docs that could help you with the functionality and also more insight when we have to compare.

Hi Hitesh,
so does that mean normal ENS will also work for Windows server 2016 workloads, meaning the client package is same for both windows 10 & server 2016?
If I want to optmise CPU utlisation, I could still go with the policy based scans in ENS 10.7?
That's correct @tekpro , Normal ENS would work on both Windows client and server operating systems.
Please refer to supported platforms regarding the OS compatibility: https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB82761
ENS for servers is just an addition in EPO specifically giving the user more opportunity to configure the ODS with smart scanning. And also yes, being on the latest ENS 10.7 allows you to throttle CPU usage in On-demand scan to optimize the usage accordingly.

If someone needs an AV for Server Machines running a compatible windows server, in that case should the recommendation be towards a regular ENS product or some like CWSE, CWSB that runs on ENS for Server?
