When McAfee runs ODS, does it log access to its own files?

There is a rule, Core Protection - Protect core McAfee files and folders. When an On-demand scan runs does it trigger this alert, or does McAfee know what its doing and ignores this for ODS?

Re: When McAfee runs ODS, does it log access to its own files?

Hi @ShawnD ,

Core Protection rules are hardcoded with ENS AAC. It triggers when a process tries to access ENS Processes.

ODS detection would not trigger Core Protection events.

Thanks
