Windows 10 1903 Security Center intermitently reports Endpoint Security is disabled when it's not

Greetings

As per https://kc.mcafee.com/agent/index?page=content&id=KB91830, we're running into this popup appearing on our users' PCs which of course causes concern and triggers calls to the service desk.

I've noticed in almost all cases, the popup coincides with the amcore signatures are being updated, so perhaps there's a small window where Windows thinks that the system is unprotected.

The KB notes that October release fixes the issues in some environments.

Wondering if anyone has had any luck mitigating these popups, either with the October release or something else.

Thank you for posting your query

As the KB article says, we have been investigating this issue and some more improvements will be done in the future release of ENS.

ENS 10.7 is expected to release next week, hence you may try installing ENS 10.7 and test if that resolves the issue
