@Former Member, POC appears to be WORKING after cursory testing.
Previously, within 3 minutes of boot time, ENS would set incorrect productState to 393232, always, without fail.
CURRENTLY with latest POC_WindDef (Platform build 1803, TP build 1858), within 3 minutes of boot time, ENS still seems to update WMI as evidenced by "timestamp", but productState IS CORRECT (397312).
Updating my SR with findings.
POC still running well after a few days and a few reboots!
Sounds promising! Shame we went to 10.7 hoping that would fix it.
I've gotten conflicting information about whether the POC would be included in the 10.7 December updates... At first I believe @Former Member told us they wouldn't, but then my SR technician indicated that possibly it would... fingers crossed.
I'm lead to believe that 10.7 patch would be in Q1 2020 which could be anywhere between Jan and March 2020 🙄
@Former Member no chance to see the fix on public release before 2020 ?
First we the fix was planned for mid-december ?!
There is no December Update for 10.7. The first update available for 10.7 will contain this fix and this is targeted for Q1 2020. We do not yet have a date to share.
The fix for 10.5.5 / 10.6.1 will be in the December Update which is targeted to release tomorrow.
It's currently delayed however we are expecting it - hopefully within the next few days.
When we have a new confirmed date, we will let you know.
I've been told they found some issue causing BSOD in a small number of cases.
