Make sure you do not exclude file type of exe, as many malware can affect exe's.  You would want to exclude only your specific exe that you are concerned with.  Also, depending on what engine is detecting it, you may need to take further action.  If the detection is an unwanted program, a file/folder exclusion won't help.  You would need to exclude it as the unwanted program detection name.

I will move this over to the ens team in case you have further questions.

Hi @32,

Thank you for your post.

Can you please help us with the following details?

Product in question?

Screenshot of any block message or error event?

If you already know, the component responsible for the block?

Looking forward to your kind response.

My product name:

ePO Build: ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 (Build 2428)
Update Installed: Update 6 (2.0.0.831)
Server: Updates
Time: 3/16/20 11:22:27 AM PKT

okay I will definitely send you the error message and the and responsible component of the Mcafee EPO.

Right now I am also investigating the same.
