BSOD after 8.0 Patch 4 Hotfix 913276

Anyone experiencing BSOD after applying 8.0 Patch 4 Hotfix 913276?  I applied to test machines and when trying to login to devices a BSOD occurs in the HIPS driver

On Tue 7/8/2014 1:29:03 AMGMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\windows\memory.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: mfefirek.sys (mfefirek+0x59206)
Bugcheck code: 0xF7 (0x77A896464C6, 0x2B992DDFA232, 0xFFFFD466D2205DCD, 0x0)
Error: DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER
file path: C:\windows\system32\drivers\mfefirek.sys
product: SYSCORE
company: McAfee, Inc.
description: McAfee Core Firewall Engine Driver
Bug check description: This indicates that a driver has overrun a stack-basedbuffer.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be causedby a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this systemerror. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver:mfefirek.sys (McAfee Core Firewall Engine Driver, McAfee, Inc.).
Google query: mfefirek.sys McAfee, Inc.DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER

Re: BSOD after 8.0 Patch 4 Hotfix 913276

Are you using MS Direct Access?

We had BSOD on machines where Direct Access was in use.

We have removed this hotfix from ePo and have open ticket to McAfee.

Yes, but lately they have not been kept, so it will be out when it is out.

Ps tentative release at Nov, 2014

Was very much looking for an estimate rather than a firm date, I know how releases go!

I guess I better look into this hotfix this, Will have no time in November-Jan to do any patches, thanks!

If you run MS Direct Access, stay away from this hotfix.
