email gateway 7.6 (EOL). Top mail senders.

Jump to solution

I know the product email gateway 7.6  is EOL but we are still using it ( please don't ask me why) .

Does someone know if its possible to know the top mail sender email address. I mean if an email is compromised and is sending a lot of spam mail. I want to know whose email is compromised and the number of mails that the compromised mail address has sent. I will be very grateful.

Hi,

There is no direct way to achieve the list of "top mail sender email address" in MEG, However, you can try the following to get the same.

1) Navigate to MEG GUI --> report --> Email report .
2) Set Filter as "All"

3) Click "Apply"

4) Navigate to "details view"

5) copy and paste the result to an excel sheet.

6) With excel sheet pivot table or any data modeling tools will help you to populate the count of email vs sender email address.

The advance option will able to filter the same using a configured policy basis.
