MOVE Antivirus 4.5.1 Agentless Antimalware status appears blank

Hi All,

I am seeing an issue where the Agentless Antimalware status is appearing as blank in the virtual tab for all of our machines.  Have upgraded to latest version of VMWare Tools and done a full install not partial.

Now, it's a bit odd because if i go onto one of the boxes and unload and load the VSEPFLT Driver then wake up the SVM's, the Agentless Antimalware status on the VM appears as on for around 5 minutes and then disappears again.  There is nothing in the server logs to suggest this is being unloaded in anyway.

2 changes have happened since this stopped working,

  1. ePolicy server has been updated to 5.9.0
  2. ESXI hosts have been swapped from 5.5 to 6.5

The only obvious thing i can see if that 6.5 reports that VMCI is now obsolete and no longer supported but i'm not sure this is an issue if we are using NXS Manager?

Has anybody else encountered this issue as all the KB's i have seen from McAfee do not resolve the issue.

these are issues that are addressed in move 4.8.

as long as the epo version is 5.9.1 or above you can upgrade to that version.
