Hello, I'm currently working with HBSS (ePo) under a windows VM, which is under an RHEL 6 server, and there is an ongoing issue where within McAfee's VSE-L, CMA and Nails have to be disabled in order for virt-manager (containing the HBSS VM) to open and work. Otherwise, the VM manager containing HBSS would not open and result in an error.
The error I'm primarily receiving upon opening the HBSS vm states the following:
"Error starting domain: internal error process exited while connecting to monitor: char device redirected to /dev/pts/32020-12-21T19:30:11.250557Z qemu-kvm: -drive file=/var/lib/libvirt/images/hbssvm1.img,if=none,id=drive-ide0-0-0,format=raw,cache=none: could not open disk image /var/lib/libvirt/images/hbssvm1.img: Permission denied"
Initially it was thought that it was because CMA open access had to be disabled, but it seems that its already disabled. I also looked at the ePolicy logs, Windows logs, and CMA logs to no avail. I want to know if it may be another problem or if something has to be changed in the settings, had to be whitelisted, etc.
Directing this post to an appropriate channel .
For future reference, what channel would be most appropriate to post this under?
Hi,
what version of the product your are using ? did you contact virt-manager about the same.

McAfee VSE For Linux 1.9.2.29197. I'm not sure if its a virt-manager issue because virt manager works only when CMA and Nails are disabled
